MiCovid Cam is a technology tool that allows the quick and accurate scan of a persons body temperature. The pandemic known as COVID-19 has a wide range of symptoms, but the most prevalent is a high fever. Given the fact that symptoms may take up to 14 days to appear after exposure, monitoring of body temperature is a first indicator a person may have been exposed and allows you to take immediate action, versus waiting for the virus to show positive symptoms and potentially affect more people. It is a tool to give you insight into your customer, employee or student well being and gives them the comfort knowing you are proactively trying to protect them. If you can identify a temperature spike in a person, you can take action to remove the person from the premise and send them for testing. Being proactive in identifying temperature spikes and testing are key to all of us beating this virus
MiCovid Cam costs $2,395. Additional options for mounting are available, Desk Mounts are $90 where Kiosk stands range from $200- $300 depending on the the model.

MiCovid Cam does not require FDA approval. The Food and Drug Administration issued guidance expanding the use of telethermographic systems for triage use during the public health crisis. Because fever is a common symptom of the COVID-19 virus, FDA says that telethermographic systems, which convert infrared radiation into body temperature measurement, can be deployed to use for initial triage at high-traffic areas, such as airports, businesses, warehouses and factories, as well as in settings where thermometers may be in short supply. It is incredibly easy. Mount it, plug it in and let the system boot up and start monitoring temperatures. MiCovid Cam is touch-less and requires no interaction with an operator. It is hands-free for customers or employees, so it removes the need to have multiple people touch it. Setting up facial recognition takes a bit more time because you have to set up the profiles for each individual user.
Depends on the configuration for the stand, but the actual set up of the device is simple – plug it in and give the device 60 seconds to boot up and you are ready to start scanning temperatures.
Indoors for sure, since MiCovid Cam is not rated for outdoor use. The best place to install MiCovid Cam is at the point of ingress/egress for your customers or employees.
MiCovid Cam is truly a contact-frees solution. Once you set it up and plug in power, you are ready to start scanning temperatures in 60 seconds. Nothing to touch, nothing input, just walk by and have your temperature scanned.
Yes, the system default temperature value is set at 99.5° F. The screen will display the actual individual temperature and display – Green notice for pass and a Red notice is above the temperature threshold. Temperature thresholds can be end-user defined and changed accordingly.

MiCovid Cam can detect facial recognition measurements in 200ms (about 2 seconds) and is accurate to 99.9%, which makes it a great solution for access control and time and attendance.
MiCovid Cam can detect facial recognition from 1 1/2 feet to 6 feet from the device.

Yes, MiCovid Cam supports multiple attributes of recognition to accurately identify individuals.
Great question and we understand the concern about private data, especially when it comes to facial recognition. MiCovid Cam can be set up where the data is stored locally on the device itself. This is for use cases where you want to use that feature in conjunction with the temperature monitoring. If you want to use our Web Services API’s you can point your data to any cloud/server based location. We recommend storing the data locally if you choose to enable the facial recognition functionality, or we can assist you with our Web Services API integration.
We have a robust API offering we have integrated into the MiCovid Cam. A lot of the competitors selling similar products are selling a closed architecture system, meaning they store the data locally. Our Web Services API can point the data from the device to multiple cloud/server based locations. By providing our Web Services API’s, we can enable 3rd party software developers with a simple path to access the data from the device, which can fast-track their software development and feature enhancements.
Nope, MiCovid Cam has Super Backlight Suppression, meaning it will automatically adjust to light and supports night time 3D noise reduction, which provides the best quality in low light settings.
